DELIVERING NEW BABIES – not for the first time
We’ve done it before. Papo d’Anjo, the prodigious Portuguese children’s designer clothing brand selling beautifully tailored clothing and accessories, asked us to deliver their baby. The very first Papo d’Anjo UK in-store boutique. At Harrods, SW1, London.
Working with designers HMKM, FOM were appointed to carry out the Project Management, Quantity Surveying, CDM coordination, Fire Strategy and landlord coordination.
“Our client was delighted and wanted to celebrate. We like a creative challenge so, since, Papo d’Anjo is the name of a Portuguese cake, we suggested we have a birthday party – with a cake and candles.” says David Reynolds, of FOM.
THE PROJECT
At a cost of £70,000 - and to the client’s delight – Papo d’Anjo’s designated area in Harrods was elevated by the installation of the new works. This included back-lit curved metal wall bays and the installation of a highly creative feature: a cash desk clad in Portuguese ceramic antique tiles.
